[lavplist] Another big Sunday event

Lyn Wyman would like the LAVP email list to be aware
of the following event, which takes place the evening
of Sunday, June 4.   Looks like a fine follow-up to
the GSA Parade earlier in the day.

Here's Lyn's message.

I am writing to request your help in publicizing a
very 
special concert that is happening on the evening of
the gay pride parade and is a great complement to that
event in terms of encouraging peace and tolerance in
the world.  

The Los Altos High School Choral Union with soloists
and symphonic orchestra will be performing the  West
Coast 
Premiere of The Armed Man, A Mass for Peace, by Karl 
Jenkins.  

The venue is First United Methodist Church of Palo
Alto and the time is 7 PM. What could be better than
hearing young people sing a work dedicated to
encouraging world peace?
