Hello LAVP Participants and Friends,

Just a quick reminder about our meeting tonight, 
Monday, May 8.  We are pleased to have as a guest
speaker the former Los Altos city council member and
mayor, King Lear, who will give us an overview of the
Gay Straight Alliance Parade planned for downtown Los
Altos on June 4.   LAVP has agreed to be an honorary
co-sponsor of the event, and
King will provide details.

Other items we will discuss include:

--Status of California Clean Money Campaign (an LAVP
priority issue).  See the attached news update on the
CCMP

--Anti-recruitment activities

--Department of Peace status

--The Los Altos Farmers Market and LAVP participation

--LAVP Community Picnic

--Mothers Day for Peace

Please join us TONIGHT at Foothills Congregational
Church (451 Orange Avenue), in the Learning Center, 7
p.m.   Bring a friend.  All are welcome.
