[lavplist] "Iraq for Sale" Film and a Special Guest

Announcing a unique opportunity this Friday (13th)
evening to see an important film, "Iraq for Sale,"
followed by a discussion with renowned journalist Dahr
Jamail.  The film, documenting war profiteering by
contractors supposedly rebuilding Iraq, has been
widely hailed.

Dahr Jamail reported from inside Iraq for nearly two
years, and 
then from Lebanon, as security became more of an
issue.  His commitment to get behind the stories, to
work with local journalists and translators, and his
excellent blogs won him an audience that included the
BBC, The Guardian, Pacifica's Democracy Now!, and
KPFA's Flashpoints.

Don't miss this chance to listen to Dahr's accounts of
