[lavplist] Save these dates for LAVP events

Hi Everyone, 

Hope you all saw the article about LAVP in the April 4th issue of the Town
Crier, p. 15. and

that you will be able to come to the events below..

 

April 9, 7 PM 

Monthly LAVP meeting 

Foothills Congregational Church, 

461 Orange Ave. Los Altos, Learning Center

 

We have two guest speakers as a result of our Mar. 19 vigil.  

Norma Jean Galiher will read the essay she was inspired to write after the
vigil.

Emad Yahya Al-Zori spoke at the vigil and will come to share in more detail
his 

experience and perspective as an Iraqi-American.

 

May 12 at Hidden Villa Ranch, 1:30 ceremony and much more.  Please see flyer
in above attachment. 

All are invited to a celebration and potluck honoring the life of LAVP
member, Larissa Keet.  She was a part of many groups. Each is invited to
bring their banners, have a table for their literature and include a page
about the organization which will be included in the printed program.
