LAVP Members and Friends,

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow, Monday, Nov. 12, is the date for the next regular meeting of Los Altos Voices for Peace.  Some of the agenda topics include:

--Iraqi/American Emad Yahya's presentation at the Los Altos Library on Nov. 28.  LAVP is the co-sponsor with the Library.  

--Peninsula and South Bay Iraq Moratorium Program:  Next up is a rally and picketing at Jeppesen Corp., in San Jose on Friday, Nov. 16.  Jeppesen is a CIA contractor aiding in the ""extraordinary rendition" program.

--Counter-recruitment:  What can we do?

--Scott Ritter's book, "Waging Peace"
