[lavplist] Join the Peninsula Peace Procession October 19

HIT THE ROAD FOR PEACE!!!

On Friday afternoon, October 19, Los Altos Voices for Peace will 
join with peace and faith groups up and down the Peninsula in
observing the Iraq Moratorium by participating in a 
Peace Procession along El Camino Real.

All vehicles—cars, hybrids, electric vehicles, bicycles--are welcome.

Some of us will start at the San Jose starting point at 3 p.m. Others 
will join the procession at various points 
as it proceeds up El Camino Real.
Those of you traveling by bicycle may want to jump in 
at El Camino and San Antonio Road

There will be a rally at the terminus in Palo Alto 
at the Unitarian Universalist Church on East Charleston.

The coalition of the peaceful will provide black ribbons
 and "Out Now" signs for decorating vehicles, but please feel free to
 display your own messages and symbols.

Let's make sure LAVP is recognized as a major participant.
