LAVP Members & Friends,

We want to call your attention to an important Los Altos event.  Audrey Shabbas, Director of Arab World and Islamic Resources (AWAIR), will make a presentation Wednesday, April 2 at 7 PM, in the Program Room at the Los Altos main Library.  

Sponsored by Los Altos Voices for Peace and the Los Altos Public Library, Ms. Shabbas's presentation will focus on an historical event of great significance today.  She will be discussing "Beyond Tolerance:  When Muslims, Christians and Jews Built a Great Civilization in Spain."  You will find her presentation informative and useful in illuminating possible solutions to problems the world faces today.
